That gives you your permanent one-click access to it, but it does mean you have to have the bookmark bar displayed of course, which takes up space.
You need to use an extension if you want to set up one.

Let me explain the difference.

That part is the settings you want to happen when you "open" Opera and what pages are displayed.

A home page is that of a certain site that you want to set up as a point of quick reference page during your browsing. So you have a 1 button to click at any time where ever you are on that browser tab to get to that page.

E.g, I have my "On start up" setting to be "continue where I left off". So when I previously closed it I may have been on IMDB and on a different tab on Youtube. So when I close it and reopen it, it opens to IMDB and Youtube. But I like my home page to be Google, because it is a site that I rely on a lot and having a quick button to get there is easiest. So even "after" opening Opera I still want that home page button for the entire duration of my browsing.

I hope this clarifies. And I hope we can still get some advice on setting up a "Home Page" and button.

Thanks
