I deleted the booking.com speed dial entry that comes with the default installation months ago, but recently, (last 1-2 weeks) something has been recreating it. It doesn't seem to occur at startup. Perhaps it is being recreated after every update. Is this intentional? If so, please stop. I don't like having to delete it multiple times.

All "pre loaded" Speed Dials are paid afaik. Usually every "pre loaded" page included in a browser is paid or, at least, is a source of resources for the browser.

Just curious are the entries that come back for you Opera partners like booking.com that Opera pre-loads into SD by default?

Yep.

What other partners are there? If they're going to have paid ads, are they going to have a paid browser version to get rid of the ads?

Yes. I confirmed the update is bringing the booking.com speed dial entry back. I was able to reproduce it on my work machine too. Are you not affected?

Yes, i am and that's the reason for have asked about it.
Every time i update or reinstall Opera, some SD entries come back.

This might be a bit hyperbolic but it looks like Opera is trying to turn their browser into adware if this wasn't some kind of mistake they made.
