I would like to report a recurring stability issue with Opera's built-in Browser Connector and the "Allow AI Connection" feature when using ChatGPT.

Problem Description:

Even when Opera remains open and active, the AI connection repeatedly disconnects without any action from my side.

ChatGPT can initially detect my open Opera tabs and successfully read their contents. However, shortly afterward, subsequent operations randomly fail with the following error:

"Browser not connected. Make sure to enable Allow AI connection in Browser Connector and sign in with your Opera account."

I then have to return to Opera Settings and manually reactivate the connection.

This issue has occurred multiple times during the same working session.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Opera and enable "Allow AI Connection".
2. Connect Opera to ChatGPT.
3. Ask ChatGPT to list the open browser tabs.
4. Ask ChatGPT to read or interact with a tab.
5. Continue performing browser operations.
6. The connection intermittently disconnects, even though Opera remains open.

Expected Behavior:

The Browser Connector should remain connected while Opera is running. If a temporary interruption occurs, it should automatically reconnect without requiring manual intervention.

Actual Behavior:

The AI connection randomly becomes unavailable, requiring repeated manual reactivation through Opera Settings.

Additional Concerns:

• There is no clearly visible connection status indicator.
• There is no dedicated interface for monitoring the connector.
• Automatic reconnection does not appear to work reliably.
• Keeping Opera open does not prevent the problem.

Impact:

This issue significantly disrupts continuous browser automation, software development, and production testing workflows.

Requested Improvements:

1. Investigate the Browser Connector's connection lifecycle and session handling.
2. Fix unexpected disconnections during active use.
3. Implement reliable automatic reconnection.
4. Ensure "Allow AI Connection" remains enabled unless the user explicitly disables it.
5. Provide a visible connection status indicator.

Please escalate this issue to the Opera development team and provide a bug tracking reference if possible.
