<![CDATA[Why doesn't Opera's unit converter support more mixed-unit formats?]]>'ve been using Opera's unit conversion feature and it's very convenient for quick conversions. However, I noticed that mixed-unit measurements could be handled better.

For example, if someone selects 5' 9", it would be useful for Opera to recognize the complete measurement and convert it to approximately 175.26 cm, rather than treating only the feet portion as the value.

The same idea could apply to other mixed measurements, such as:

5 ft 9 in → centimeters
6 ft 2 in → centimeters
10 lb 8 oz → kilograms
2 gal 3 qt → liters

Would it be possible to improve the converter so it recognizes these combined measurements as a single value?

Has anyone else noticed this limitation?
