As sometimes the vertical tabs might come in handy, the option to use them should include the tab bar in the normal sidebar, cuz now if one wants to use that function you end up with a double sidebar which is very confusing and not handy at all imo
if it would be 1 bar on the side of your window more ppl would be trying/using it imo
