I have lots of saved files and I don't want to loose them. So what is the solution?

It is unbelievable to me that so many ask this same question or have the same issue of not being able to restore precious saved pages & yet no answers from the knowledgeable ones here, nor any answers from OM employees. There should be a sticky addressing it & it should be #1, but instead all these ppl just get ignored & to my knowledge were never advised that this would happen.
