<![CDATA[How can I prevent a non-admin Windows user from enabling the VPN and DoH feature on Opera GX?]]>As an admin I have implemented a device-wide DoH for cloudflare families. The only problem is the VPN and DoH features of Opera GX which can easily override it. I don't want non-admin users to be able to just turn on the DoH or VPN.

I saw in this link that it's possible to make a certain settings file "Read Only" for non-admins. The thing is that there is no Settings file and the Preferences file that IS there only has an option for VPN-Pro, no DoH or normal VPN. I'd try blocking those IP ranges given but it only stops the VPN, not the DoH. Plus ChatGPT said something about those IP ranges constantly changing.

ChatGPT mentioned a "policies.json" file which I can't find which would diable the VPN and DoH features.

Is there any way I can disable those 2 features? Disabling them for non-admins seems like the safest way but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks
