<![CDATA[Saved passwords disappeared]]>Hello,
I have been trying for weeks (since April or May 2026) to get help regarding the passwords that suddenly disappeared from my Opera browser.

I have been using the Opera browser for years, though I don't really use all its features, as many seem trivial or unnecessary for my needs.

One could discuss which features are essential—such as opening PDFs for reading without downloading them (which often clogs up my memory unnecessarily)—but that isn't the issue here.

I have already "sent out distress signals," but the responses—which were in English, a language I don't speak well—didn't help much (kjaworska Opera Desktop Stable).

So, who can help me recover the passwords for the Opera browser I've been using for years?

Thanks. I'm on Windows 11 with an up-to-date Dell Inspiron. Have a good day.

The question you posted about passwords relate to the browser on Windows, correct?

If so you should post your question in that section of the forums.
This is the iOS part and I dont have the rights to move posts since i am not a moderator or admin (just part of the iOS team).

  1. Go to: https://forums.opera.com/category/58/general
  2. Post your question in that forum section
  3. Wait for their team to respond

Hello, I don't understand what I need to do. Could I get a more precise and detailed explanation on how to carry out your request? I am not very familiar with how forums work, or with the world of computing and networking in general. Step-by-step guidance would be appreciated. Thank you. Have a wonderful day..
