How to prevent auto update of beta

Auto updating of betas just started here with the current build. I need to do some testing with a previous beta, but don't see a way to stop the auto update. Is there one? Thanks,

Maybe the problem isn't auto updating, but being able to install a previous beta. Every version I've downloaded has ended up being the current one. Are the previous ones actually still up, or is auto updating overriding the install?

When you update a specific channel (stable, beta or developer) to a new version of the same channel, it overrides the previous one. As far as I know, you can't disable the auto updates in windows.
