Although we find a settings which lets us disable suggestions it only works partially. When you toggle suggestions you may not get them when clicking into the address bar. So gar so good. But the moment you're typing they're there again.
I have still to find a setting to turn suggestions totally off. Is there a hidden settings for that?
In Firefox you can disable all suggestions from the search engine as well as those by Firefox itself.
