Known issues:

  • Drop downs do not display correctly in HiPDI environments on Windows and Linux,

  • The dialog shown for invalid certificates is displayed in wrong place on Mac,

  • Incorrect preview behavior when switching tabs with keyboard shortcuts,

  • Incorrect icon not shown in the title bar in some window managers under Linux.

"We have also had a couple of internal reports of out of memory crashes and (on Linux) failure to start on some distros. Let us know if you also experience these issues below, so we can see how widespread the problems actually are."

For example on this site http://www.kitguru.net when Sidebar is open, menu of that site stays in place when scrolling. When sidebar is disabled and page is refreshed problem is gone.

Maybe something changed in caching system? Or maybe there is some memory leak? I will post if that happens again.

unable to watch youtube html5 video on opera dev 30.0.1833.0. The video keeps buffering but return to normal after I switch to flash. Can anyone help?

Which OS? It happens with all videos? Do you use any extensions?

This time, instead of the 64-bit build, the first 32-bit version of the new Opera for Linux! πŸ˜‰

"Today we provide a 32-bit Linux version of our previous developer release. Sadly, there is no Linux 64-bit version this time aroundβ€”some changes we originally made to accommodate the 32-bit version on our build systems, actually broke the 64-bit version. πŸ˜‰ We have already fixed the issue internally, so the next release should have both 32-bit and 64-bit versions for Linux."

Unfortunately extensions list was blank so I had to re-download them. Passwords, bookmarks and cookies work, so nothing was lost. But man I was stuck with small youtube since opera 28. Only thing that pops to my mind is something like nvidia drivers blacklist (I remember something like this in flags in Chrome) that kept flash videos in software mode and in low quality.

And in firefox I have sidebar with vertical tabs, so window is reduced even further and youtube size is big. So it's not the case.

That is not a bug, your screen size does not allow a bigger size of the video. The same thing happen in my notebook.
