Opera 4 or 5?
Share needs 4, Tap in URL 5.

To copy you need just two steps. To use that copy, number of steps will depend on how and where you will use it.

But where are you then? not at the Point where you started. You got to tap backwards 2 times ! Then you can work with the copied url.
All other browsers do this in 2 steps.

My suggestion and advice : pack it into the Hamburger menue: Copy URL.
