<p dir="auto">Since the update to version 129.0.5823.44 (2 days ago), Opera fails to start on my system and crashes immediately with a core dump.</p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>System Information:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>OS: Manjaro Linux (Arch-based)</li>
<li>Installation method: Snap (version 444)</li>
<li>Display Server: Wayland</li>
<li>Opera version: 129.0.5823.44</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Error Details:</strong></p>

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in ""
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

<p dir="auto"><strong>What I've tried:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Forcing X11 backend with <code>QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb opera</code> - same crash</li>
<li><code>snap refresh opera</code> - no updates available</li>
<li>Verified snap connections - all properly connected including wayland interface</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Snap connections confirmed:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>wayland: opera:wayland → :wayland (connected)</li>
<li>x11: opera:x11 → :x11 (connected)</li>
<li>All other interfaces properly connected</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Additional info:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Opera was working fine before the update 2 days ago</li>
<li>The crash happens immediately on startup, no window appears</li>
<li>The Qt platform plugin error suggests a library compatibility issue</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">Has anyone else experienced this issue with the recent snap update? Is there a known workaround or fix coming?</p>
