I would like to suggest a new customization feature regarding cookie management in Opera.

Currently, the browser allows us to clear all cookies upon closing. However, this is often inconvenient because it forces users to log back into every single service (like Google, Facebook, or Amazon) the next time they open the browser.

The Proposal:
I would love to see a dedicated "Exceptions" or "Whitelist" toggle for cookies, similar to how we manage bookmarks or site permissions.

How it would work:

A user could set the browser to "Clear cookies on exit" by default (to stay clean from trackers and ad-related cookies).

The key addition: A specific button or list where we can choose which sites are "exempt" from this cleanup.

This way, the browser would delete all the "junk" cookies from a browsing session but keep the login sessions active for our most-used, trusted websites.

This would create a perfect balance between privacy and daily browsing speed.

What do you think? I believe many users would find this granular control extremely helpful!

I had this feature on another browser and it was really useful for me.
