is there any way to get Opera to show date format as DD.MM.YYYY.?

I am Croatian, but I want Opera in english.
When I choose Opera in english, best I can get is DD/MM/YYYY which is very unclear when you are working with a lost of data.

Btw. Opera does not use the system date and time format, it uses the date and time format of language that is selected.

Where??
The date format is typically handled by the web site, and it should use either the system format, or else one determined (i.e. "forced") by the very site.
