for example i'd like to have dark UI with red accent and custom wallpaper. Impossible.
Classic theme has only lighter UI background.
Sonic and Mirage themes have nice UI background but no red Accent possible and no custom Wallpaper.

Limited Choice of Colors and no custom Themes is just horrible. I love Opera otherwise but this new theme engine is just Ridiculously restrictive.

Am i missing something?

just put two sliders with full color spectrum and youre good.

I was just coming here to write the exact same thing! Also, I just came back to Opera after a break of two years, and I really miss the random beautiful nature wallpapers from Brave and Edge. It makes things fresh and alive to be greeted with a gorgeous vista every day/few hours.
