<![CDATA[opera gx keeps opening links in new tabs instead of the current one]]>every time i click on any link while browsing it opens in a new tab instead of the current one. It started around 2 days ago and it's extremely annoying. Somehow, when I tried using chrome it happened on there as well. I did an mrt scan and it found nothing, neither of my shift keys are stuck nor do i have any extensions on, as i have turned them all off to see if that would help. I don't do well with complicated computer stuff so I'm super lost.

Example: I type Youtube in the search bar, click enter, and when I click on the Youtube link, it opens in a new tab instead of the one where i searched for it.

basically, you click on your avatar on the google results page (when you search for something), your google pfp on right side. click that. at the bottom, click more settings, then other settings. toggle the thing off then on then off again. see if that does the trick, otherwise i dont remember what i did to fix the thing.
