i have a problem with a clean installation of Opera 19.0. I imported my certificate and if i go to one of the pages, that request a certificate, nothing happens. There's no pop-up to select a password. It's seems, as it would load the page until infinity. What could be the problem? I have a portable version of Opera on my USB Stick, and there are no such problems.

Please help.

Are your developers actually try to build a decent usable browser as the rest seems all seem to have figured this out several years ago (yes I did check to make sure chrome actually has this working since you are using the same engine).

do fix this or I will have to look at different browsers AGAIN but this is basic functionality and used more or less everyday.

Every new version that comes I hope this certificate issue will be solved just to be disappointed again. @OperaDevelopers Up to current release all releases should be done as BETA because client certificates is BASIC browser functionality without which a browser is useless. So make client certs top priority. I just hope it won't take you another 10 versions for this like it was with bookmarks.

I imported a client certificate in the Win8 certificate manager, and I can use the certificate without trouble in IE. With Opera, page keeps loading forever, as mickeyslo pointed. It's not a problem prompting the password (there is no need for asking the password after importing the certificate into the secure store), but managing the secure connection.

I'm a little bit dissapointed with this kind of basic functionalities not working properly after all this time...
