<![CDATA[Video playback not working on some websites in Opera on LinuxMint 22]]>I’m using Opera on LinuxMint 22 and I’m experiencing an issue where videos don’t play on some websites such as Facebook and TikTok, while YouTube works fine. I’ve tried several fixes but none have worked. Most online guides mention that this problem might be caused by missing codecs on LinuxMint.

Please help me resolve this issue. I really like Opera — it’s lightweight, fast, and uses very little system performance — but this video playback issue is the only problem I’ve encountered.

You can search for libffmpeg.so on this forum. This is not a distro problem.
