<![CDATA[QR code - security issue: display URL, not redirect!]]>Is there a way to scan a QR code without being automatically redirected to that link?

The automatic redirect on scanning a QR code is a scammers wet dream and a security nightmare!

I'd really rather see the url before choosing to visit it, or deciding not to.

And if the QR code is for a non-url then a safe "preview" thumbnail of what it is for, or something much more secure.
