I’m facing a serious issue: after a full system reset, I have lost all my Opera GX bookmarks, including those that were previously saved and synced using Opera Sync.

I logged into sync.opera.com, and to my shock, even the previously synced bookmarks are missing. I had trusted the sync feature to be a backup, but now everything is gone — bookmarks that were carefully saved over months and were very important for my work and personal use.

I tried recovery tools like Recuva and PhotoRec, but they only find bookmarks created after the reset. All my older bookmarks — which I believe were synced — have completely vanished.

This has caused a huge loss of important data, and I’m requesting your urgent help.

Please:

Check if there’s any server-side backup of my bookmarks before July 16.

Help me restore or retrieve the previously synced data from your end.
