<![CDATA[Need Help Recovering My Opera Account (Lost 2-Factor Codes)]]>Hi everyone,

When Google updated its Authenticator app I lost most of my 2-factor tokens, including the one for my original Opera account. Since then I haven’t been able to log in. I even created a second Opera account, but of course it didn’t contain my bookmarks, settings, or synced data, so I stopped using Opera for quite a while.

I’d really like to come back especially because I love how intuitive Opera GX is and how much I can personalise it so I’m trying to recover my first account. I’m willing to fill out any form or follow any procedure that’s required.

Could somebody from Opera (or anyone who has gone through this) please let me know what I can do?

Either you get one in the authentication app you have chosen when you enabled second factor authentication or you use one of your backup codes.

Yes, either one time passcode that I have lost or by 6 digit code that should be sent to the Gmail but isn't.

I still know my password and the used Gmail. im wondering if somebody could assist me getting verification codes.

Unfortunately, I no longer have my backup codes. I did save them when I first enabled 2-factor authentication, but I switched computers and no longer have access to the file/printout. Is there any alternative way to regain access to my account (e.g., identity verification through my registered email or other details)?
