<![CDATA[Synchronisation with previous opera]]>I tried to sync all tabs/history/bookmarks.
Not critical:

  • Tabs haven't appear
  • History either

Critical

  • About bookmarks: They synced, but they were in folder Speed Dials, I expected to see them on speed dial, not in folder. Also images that I added manualy to each, didn't move from old browser.

How I reproduced:

  • Entered in account in old one browser (119.0.5497.70).
  • Checked sync all in preferences -> on Opera sync saw that all data was synced.
  • Entered in account in new new one Air (119.0.5497.81)
  • Also checked all checkboses for sync, and nothing happend. (On Opera sync still shows my history/tabs/etc)
  • I exported bookmarks manualy from old one, and imported to new one. So I get only my bookmarks.

Expectations

  • I expected to see ability to move tabs from old opera (installed on this pc), but saw only edge/chrome/html.
  • After entering account expected that all data will migrate automatically.

Opened tabs from other installations can be found by clicking on the tabs icon in sidebar or by going to opera://activity

Bookmarks thumbnails are not synced as far as I know

Speed Dials from other Opera installations can be seen in Other Speed Dials and, if you want, you can copy them and paste in Speed Dial to be able to access them in your current Speed Dial.

It was designed to work that way because people may want to have different speed dials on different devices.
