<![CDATA[Problem with Opera's Synced Tabs with Multiple Workspaces]]>Dear all,

I have four Workspaces (A, B, C, D) defined on each of my desktop devices (running current stable or beta version of Opera One) in order to keep my tabs clearly separated. My sync is configured to sync everything possible, hence also open tabs.
I encounter the following now:

  1. I have Workspace A open on device 1 and Workspace C on device 2.
  2. On device 2, if I open the synced Tabs from the sidebar - resulting in opera://activity/ - and choose device 1, I only see the open tabs of currently open Workspace A. I am not able to see the tabs of Workspaces B-D.
  3. The same is true in the opposite direction: If I open the synced Tabs on device 1 and choose to see the tabs of device 2, I only see the open tabs of currently open Workspace C. I am not able to see the tabs of Workspaces A,B,D.
  4. The set of open tabs changes, as soon as I switch the Workspace on any device. At the end, I am only able to see the open tabs of the currently open Workspace of the "remote" device.

This is pretty annoying as I would like to see ALL open tabs of the remote device, this means the tabs of ALL Workspaces. Is there a way to achieve this?

Is the current behavior for open tabs a bug or a feature?

For the definitions of workspaces (not what tabs are in them), those are synced when you sync settings. However, that can be very buggy and you might end up losing workspaces when syncing settings. If you do, you'll lose all the open tabs in those lost workspaces.
