In older version you could drag and drop links( or images/texts(?) ) into opened tab in order to "close" that one and open in it's place a new one.

Here on image, as I drag(with invisible mouse, can't reproduce with visible) onto the tab "cat", it suggests to open the image in new tab to the right. In older version it would suggest just open the image in "cat" tab.
I did checked settings hoping it would be available as with new version but seems not. I hope for revert for this feature or adding in setting toggling it.
