I hit that page 5trillion times a day and it gets really visually agitating.</p>

Here I see the animation only in Developer and happens randomly. Sometimes no animation, sometimes tiles flashing, sometimes tiles appearing by growing up smoothly.<br />
Anyway, it can't be turned off as it seems.</p>
<p dir="auto">*The animation I meant in my first post is the animation which happens when you click a tile before bookmark opening.</p>
