<![CDATA[My Opera screen went pure white randomly]]>I was just on my Opera browser watching something, and when I went out of full screen I found that my screen went mostly white on the browser. I continued, assuming it was a one-off, then it proceeded to happen every 10-20 minutes or so when I'd go into full screen and then back. This is right after the new update today on 25/04/25, on a Windows 11 HP Pavillion Laptop 14-dv0xxx. I have attached an example of what it looked like below:

For those who are still having the problem, despite recent Opera (Stable) updates, I found a solution that works perfectly after testing three different graphics cards (AMD).

These are simply driver issues from AMD (25.5.1 & new 25.6.1) (WHQL)
Test with v. 25.3.1 & 25.4.1 WORKS perfectly (0 whites screen after fullscreen a few minutes)

Cards used:

  • RX 6600
  • RX 9070 XT
  • RX 580

Themes used Aurora or my fav Metamorphic (Always with "Animations disabled")

Could this be a problem with some GPUs or not?
I have an AMD 6600 XT and an RX 580 = the same.

If i go to new tab and wait for a few seconds, the theme will be back. i already give feedback to opera.

I'll test the aurora w/o animation and let you know how that goes.
