Recently closed is only tabs, not windows.

The recently closed function only works for closed tabs. If I close Opera (thereby closing say four tabs), those tabs are not included on the list.

Uhhhh...... Opera. I have no idea what those mean. Why are there now three browsers?

Help about says Opera One, but I never selected "one", I just went to opera.com and downloaded the browser.

@leocg Well it doesn't do it here on the latest version. I just closed the only open Opera window, which included this very page in the forum. I reopened Opera and it's not in recently closed.

@hucker That's expected, I guess, since the last closed window is recovered by default when you start Opera.

@hucker I would guess that 8 out of 10 don't disable that feature.

Many people seem to like to have several tabs opened and that feature is useful to get those tabs back when starting Opera.

And those who don't want to have the tabs from previous session being opened on startup can simply close those tabs.

@leocg The thing is, they build up. My phone browser is Adblocker Free. It has no option so I have to have it remmeber the tabs. But on a phone it's worse, there is no bar of tabs. So without realising, it's loading 150 tabs when I start it!

@leocg No..... I don't want them open! I can't understand anyone wanting to accumulate 150 tabs. Going through and closing them is tedious. When I'm finished with a browser I'm finished with it, why would I continue the same websites again?

I usually also close all tabs before closing the browser, but sometimes I may left a couple of them opened.

@hucker if you want to open opera on your desktop with no previous tabs from your session, just enable the start with a fresh tab setting in the startup section if I'm not mistaken, and if it's for mobile, enable clearing open tabs through exit option and exit opera mobile using the exit button through the toolbar settings. Do mention if you need any help with doing so.
