<![CDATA[Why was 1Password support dropped?]]>I had Opera version 117.0.5408.53 and I was happy with it. I had the 1Password extension installed, which I use regularly.

Opera updated itself (without asking) and the 1Password extension is gone, along with other extensions. A search of available extensions does not show a 1Password extension.

How do I get the 1Password extension back? or do I just move to another browser?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. After Opera updates, some extensions may be removed or disabled. You can reinstall the 1Password extension from the Chrome Web Store — just make sure you have the "Install Chrome Extensions" add-on for Opera first.

Go to: https://chrome.google.com/webstore, search for "1Password," and install it again.

If issues persist, switching to a more extension-friendly browser like Chrome, Brave, or Firefox might be worth considering.

Although I don't find 1Password in a search of Opera extensions, when I go to the 1Password site (using Opera) and sign in, 1Password can be insttalled in Opera. It's just not shown in Opera's own list of extensions.

Still, I would have preferred that the update not remove the extensions I had already installed.
