<![CDATA[Use for different versions?]]>I've used Opera Browsers for years; liked every one of them. Currently I have 27, 28, and 29 installed, running, and 'in use'. I guess my demands aren't too many as all three run fine...the same. 'Stable' {27} is my default and about all I do with 28 and 29 is routinely check for new updates [although I personally never FEEL the results during operation]

Anybody have a particular reason for running any ONE of the three??

I've made the change from 'Book Marks' [and that bar] to Pseudo-Book Marks, using the Speed Dial page, and now that I'm happy with that for my couple dozen 'Book Marks'....AND...found out how to pass new ones back into the main program, from my V/M, 27 seems just fine.

I'll probably uninstall 28 and 29. One of these days I suppose when I look at 'About Opera', 27 will miraculously have become 28! That's how my 26 became 27.

Oh, Leocg, I've been to those blogs, and do understand the differences; just wondered about decision making

Basically, if you want stability and don't care (much) about new features then you should use Stable. On the other hand, if you want to get new features a little earlier but stiull cares about stability, you can use the Beta stream.

If you like to see new features as soon as they get available and don't care about serious bugs, possibility of data loss and so on, then developer builds may be your choice.

Not so long ago it crashed as soon as the user pressed Ctrl + F, for example.

At first I did it because it had bookmarks first, but after finding that is was rock solid from a stability standpoint I just never left.
