With the fall of Google and the rise of paid search like Kagi this feature is more needed than ever.</p>
<p dir="auto">I pay for Kagi. Without this feature I literally can't and won't use Opera browser. I'm going to choose the service I pay for over a "free" browser.</p>
<p dir="auto">Opera, remove the gun from your foot and add this feature otherwise you can expect to lose whatever little market share you have.</p>

It really sours my opinion of Opera that I can't customize my own search engine, like how dare you!?!?</p>

I would prefer Opera, but this limitation pushed me back to Edge...</p>
