I read a post before where someone claimed to have it working in opera27, which was in beta at the time. I downloaded the chrome extensions on opera add on and the google cast extension from the chrome app store and installed it. Unfortunety when i click on it, it just brings up a blank box where my chromecast should be listed along with various options.
Is there any workaround to get it functioning or any plans for same. Despite the new opera being very similar to chrome, i don't like using chrome and i've used Opera for years (12.17 being my first choice, mostly because of the integrated mail) Opera is a brand i trust and would prefer if i could do everything from it and not have to bother with chrome at all.

Downloaded Opera today (6/3/2016) and the Google Cast extension still brings a blank screen. Like Opera much better can Chrome otherwise.
