As of the update installed today for Opera One (version: 117.0.5408.39), the fix no longer works. It still functions for other browsers like Chrome and Edge which can be run without "efficiency," so it's not a change to Windows' system, but must be something new with this update. Any ideas? I really need the option to run Non-efficiency, and many others have the same issue judging from online searches.

It does indeed happen, not only with Opera but also with Edge, that an update can rewrite the shortcut without the command line modification, but I'm used to that and immediately go to the rewritten shortcut icon and re-edit to put back the extra command.
