<![CDATA[CRITICAL! can't save anything on local or remote IP addresses]]>I can't use opera to download the backup files for my xirrus arrays or aruba networks access points. I also can't save PRTG graphs either. I also can't download anything from websites access by Ip addresses.

For a Xirrus array:

  1. I type in an IP address to access the wireless access point's config
  2. I go to the tools>system tools>Download Current Configuration: xs_current.conf
  3. I right click and "save linked content as" and nothing happens.

It does the same thing for Aruba Networks access points as well as my PRTG network monitor's web interface. i right click to save a graph and nothing happens.

This has made the browser worthless for network management. Please fix this!

I even tried it on a machine with opera STABLE non-dev main and it was a fresh windows 8.1 install and the same issue. No IP address based saving!

Firefox and IE are fine. They both save from IP addresses.

When did the problem begin (that is, did Opera ever work in this regard, if so, at what version point)? Do other browsers work correctly with your local and remote IP addresses, and if so, which browsers?
