<![CDATA[Thumbnails vs Logos]]>I hate the thumbnails you now provide for speed dials. Three reasons: (1) It is much harder for me to recognize a dial than with the site logo; (2) You spend a lot of cycles on my aging computer loading and updating the thumbnails; and (3) some of my sites have proprietary information that I prefer not to have displayed on my speed dial even though it's hard to read. Can you give us the option of having either site logos or thumbnails? Thank you.

For a brief period, speed dial offered logos instead of thumbnails. Thumbnails make no sense on a small laptop. Who actually thought this was a good idea!?! Hello? The websites are virtually indistinguishable without a magnifying glass. My current version of Opera is 28.0.1750.48. At present, Opera Flags doesn't allow me to change the speed dial settings back to logos -- just thumbnails or differently organized thumbnails. This is just stupid. Sorry, but it's just stupidity. Stop farting around with these settings. At minimum, users should be given an easy option to switch between thumbnails and logos -- an easy switch.

In the latest developer build you can change that. It is integrated in bookmarks, you just have to enter the site and change the image in the heart menu.

Yep, very glad they added this in opera 29, sd looks much cleaner without the website thumbnails 🙂

logo-webs,
sites (instead of ads-screenshots),
numbered,
if sites-displaying is a better option than displaying as logo-webs. i think opera needs this feature :color customizing - color for background thumnails, color of letters)

let opera's users customize the speed dial like
resizing,
using shortkeys,..
