<![CDATA[I can't paste from Lastpass my password into the password field]]>Greetings, came back to Opera after a few years away.
Got this strange problem on my S25 Ultra, I can't paste from Lastpass my password into the password field when trying to log in for sync. What happens however is that the word "password" that's written in the field gets selected, you cannot get the option "paste" up when long pressing.

Perhaps a minor thing often but when you use 18 random chars it's something I would consider fixing.

This is the way the window looks on Samsung S25 Ultra, when you long press the password field you'll only end up selecting "password", you never get the "paste" option.
Hope the this will get fixed.

I said that other login forms seem to be fine in that regard. So it might be intentional that it doesn't work there.

Oh, my device is actually a tablet, a Samsung Galaxy A7. A couple of years old, but it does what I need it to.

Did I understand you correctly that you're able to paste a password in the Android version of Opera successfully and replace the "password" text that's presented there by default?

I have Opera inside the Secure Folder using the KNOX security system, I think I should mention that but that shouldn't affect the application in this regard at all.
What type of Android phone do you have?

Perhaps they are trying to thwart autofill systems?

I know you can't select the hints in text boxes - as soon as you try the text disappeats. But still, there should. Be a Paste option if there is any text in the clipboard ... yeah, just checked and I have such an option here.
