It's amazing and a quantum leap beyond Opera 12. Wonderful release. However I want to upgrade to Opera 28 Beta and as future versions are released I'd also like to upgrade when the time comes. I've noticed however that every time I execute a new Opera installation it takes around an hour or so resetting the Speed Dial, adding back the visual bookmarks and then manually re-entering the login details for the various sites that I use.

This is time consuming and not ideal. Is there any way to automatically import Speed Dial selections and visual bookmarks in to the new release when upgrading? This would save so much time. Does anyone know how to do this?

I had no idea it was that simple and easy. Looks like I can happily upgrade whenever I want now with my profile now shared between the releases. Thanks again!

They can coexist peacefully because of this. IIRC simply copying the profile folders and replacing the new installs profile folder with it should work. Each release will then keep itself updated.
