<![CDATA[Opera 27 - How eliminate the new annoying bar that appears on the bottom of the page wasting space]]>I want to know how I can eliminate the bar that appears on the bottom of the window in Opera 27

it is a waste of space

I mean the bar that show 3 buttons that give quick access to <quick access> - <bookmarks> - <discover>

To me this bar is really annoying and I'll appreciate any council as to eliminate it

unless you revert back to the old speed dial

I would be happy to do that and reach the desired result (no bar on the bottom of the window)

but I've already renounced to the new speeddial because the screen colors where too bright

and it was very difficult to read (and also because the screen image was not good as the old one)

however the annoying bottom bar is still there 😞 😞 😞

The same problem happens in Opera 29, but can't be solved using the same solution
Someone knows how to eliminate the annoying and unuseful bar from the bottom of the page in this new version of Opera ?

Not possible anymore, unless you revert back to the old speed dial. And even this solution will probably not be available anymore in Opera 30.

the solution was posted by quadtube and is this:

To disable the navigation bar feature at the bottom of your screen, please enter the following in the Opera address bar:

opera://flags/#webui-navigation-bar
