You can still click the pop out button and the video from the browser will become black like how it was supposed to be, but the pop out player just didn't show up. The audio plays like normal.

I suspect that the pop out player was there but somehow became invisible because I couldn't click anything at the bottom right of my screen after I clicked the pop-up video player button. I already tried turning on and off all the settings related to the video pop out including the transparent option, but nothing worked.

I'm using the Opera for Windows (not Opera GX)

But it's odd cause I was pretty sure it was working during my current session.
My solution is awkward, I simply use one of my workspace that I have not recently modified. The issue only happens when I am in my 3rd (of 4) workspace (one that I modified recently, like the icon and the name).
More context : I installed 'opera one' on a new machine 2-3 weeks ago under win 11. I have synchronized my account to recover bookmarks, etc. As a side note, the synchronization process cleared the entire content from 2 of my workspaces on the original machine, which is always nice to have no warn when things are deleted/cleared/removed ... Would have been nice to have a way to recover my 100+ opened tabs :p

Resume : check if the popup issue is present in all of your workspaces.

Turning it on did make the video pop out working again, but it caused my laptop to freeze randomly when trying to watch a video. I have to force shut down my laptop because it's completely unresponsive when it happens.

I manually turned off hardware/graphic acceleration a long time ago because I keep having this issue with various devices, so I hope there's another way to restore the video pop out without involving the graphic acceleration.
