That means things like lock screen controls or external playback devices often won’t detect it the same way they would the desktop or mobile app.

If you’re using the Web Player and want to give it a try, here’s the full link: https://open.spotify.com/. For deeper integration, like media keys or system audio controls, you’d need the Spotify desktop app, which supports those features natively.
