<![CDATA[Does opera send "do not track" header to the sites?]]>I check this option in options (Do Not Track) but it doens't work. How it works? For specially sites? Or it's an joke.
Why for example yandex.metrika follow my actions?

Opera will inform the servers not to track.

Servers are not forced to follow the header and may ignore the wish to stop Tracking.

Basically, it sends a request to web applications (the sites you visit) that they disable tracking. Unfortunately web applications may choose to ignore it as its not a legal requirement. Who knows how effective it really is. It's surely better to use it though just in case.
