<p dir="auto">It's not just ugly, but is basic bad design. It's difficult to read text in Opera's default thin sans-serif text in black against this purple background. I have normal vision and can sometimes struggle to see what I've typed. People with vision problems must find it impossible.</p>
<p dir="auto">If you think coloured fields are a cool idea, then make them a customisable option. Default normal white, let the user choose any other colour.</p>
