<![CDATA[Slow Google Search]]>Am migrating from Opera 99 to 114, some of the reason is I have finally installed Win 10 on one laptop and Win 11 on another. One of the issues I have been having lately with 99 is the Google searched often are hesitating - sometimes up to 20 seconds - before results show. Now with 114 I am having a similar ussie, any help appreciated.

Of interest, I have discovered something interesting in regards to slow searches. If I use my text cursor to mark a word phrase to search for, and the little dark "Search/Copy/Snapshot" thingee pops up, and do the search from THAT "Search," the search takes a while, and while THAT is transpiring I go back to the search term page and right click it and do the search from the right click menu, the search happens instantaneously, even as the first search is trying to finish ITS search!!!

Any ideas, besides to always do the search from the Opera right click menu?

I am having the same problem but have been using Opera for a number of years.

On my end, it has been happening kind of sice I upgraded to Windows 10. Also I am using Opera 99, the issue mostly disappears when I upgrade to Opera 114
