Thanks for your suggestions, but the problem went away after the Opera update about ten days ago.

Unless, of course, you are really using an old version of the browser.

What does that mean? How do I pursue it?
Also I get a similar problem logging in to pge.com the local utility so when more than one site complains it leads me to think there is something in Opera that they want to see and they don't find it. Hence my question.
