Windows had to be re-installed on my PC. I'm now trying to set everything back up and re-installed Opera. I was able to log in to my Opera account with my gmail address and could see that there were bookmarks, passwords, etc saved, however, I couldn't do anything with them. I tried every password I've ever used for anything and none were accepted. So, I reset my account password and was able to enable "sync". I did that through "forgot password" not through "Reset sync" because it said it would delete everything from the server if I did that. However, now, when I look at my account, clicking on sync takes me to settings instead of the separate account view it did before. Since I couldn't remember my old passphrase (honestly, I don't even recall ever setting one), it says there that I can't access my old passwords. However, I don't have any bookmarks either and now they don't seem to exist. Is there anyway to at least recover my bookmarks?
