This was extremely useful to me because i frequently reset my pc and all i would have to do is install opera and all my passwords would be there. So i reset my pc last night but when it came to importing my passwords and such there was no option for opera. I don't know what to do because all my passwords were stored there and i have no idea what most of my passwords were or even what email addresses i used for different sites. So yeah i'm kind of freaking out since i have pretty much just lost all my passwords. Is there any way i could get them back?

Now it's more of a paranoia thing the reason i reset it this time is because i got a windows defender alert about a trojan and sure it said it stopped it but i just couldn't get it out of my head so i decided to just reset it. Thanks again for the help.

The old profile before you reset your PC wouldn't be available to import from after the PC was reset.

Now, using Opera Sync, on the other hand, could work if all of your stuff was properly synced before you reset your PC. If that didn't happen correctly and your data is not at https://www.sync.opera.com/, you're out of luck.

As far as I can remember, the option has always been to import data from other browsers, for when you are first installing Opera.
An option to import from Opera could have make sense about a decade ago when Opera changed to Chromium and people may want to import from Opera Presto, but not nowadays.

What version of Opera do you have stored? Do you have your passwords exported to a CSV file?
