Due to a 'contactual dispute', here in the U.S.A., between DISH [satellite TV] and MY favorite 'cable' news channel(s), I have been forced to watch my news channels On-Line. I have used Chrome, Firefox, I.E.11, Opera 12.17 and Opera 28-dev...all in latest and greatest condition. There have been problems with continual viewing of my news channels with ALL of them, running on a 55 MB Broadband line, but the one with the fewest 'burps'...and longest 'goof-proof' viewing has been Opera 28-dev.
Don't know if the info is worth anything....but it is fact.

P.S. Whaddya think? Maybe 55 MB isn't enuff for 'streaming'?
Not going to sign up for it but my ISP does have 100 and 110 MB services.....

Nah, your connection is plenty. The problems are most likely somewhere else on along the line thats outside of your control. This is especially true if the service you are being forced to turn to is less than completely legitimate.

It's legitimate, but thanks for the confirmation. First time I ever 'watched live' on my computer. New provider tomorrow should cure the problem.
I did notice that when the news 'crawler' on the bottom of the screen started going sort of jerky was when I had to go to the computer, hit Control R and 'catch up'............. which I why I thought maybe my flow was too slow.
Opera 28 kept going for at least 20 minutes at a time, the others less..........
