This isn't an Opera thing, its a Youtube thing. I doubt the devs are gonna change the way the web browser does things for one website when its already taken care of in an extension.

But youtube sucks tho, for example I have no idea why favorites are a playlist, I haven't found a way to just play one item from a playlist and not go straight to playing the next one. Very annoying
