<![CDATA[open links in a new tab]]>when i right click a link to open something in a new tab, i would like it to open in an ACTIVE tab, not a BACKGROUND tab. it used to do this automatically. can someone direct me to the setting where i can change this please? i've looked and looked but cannot find it.

Like someone commented elsewhere they started this chrome based engine of opera from scratch. It's gonna take time. Look it took them to have tab stacking in presto based engine of opera late versions of opera.

But first you must have installed the "Download Chrome Extension" which lets you download extensions from the google chrome webstore for use in opera. Get this extension here: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/ Note it will only allow the installation of extensions from the webstore. Doesn't work with apps. When you are visiting a site for downloading an extension, you will see a red box far right of opera's address bar. Click it to start the download process to download an chrome extension. Good luck.
