Extension Pin to toolbar has no effect

Windows 11.
Any idea what I've got wrong?

I have 1 extension at the moment (Lastpass) and I can not get it to show up on the tool bar (which I assume is the set of icons to the right of the address (pinboard,snapshot,privacy,flow,bookmark,download,easysetup,account)

Nor does it appear anywhere else.

@vincentkeithauthor As far as I know, pinned extensions appears on the left of extensions menu icon.

The extensions toolbar expands/collapses when you click it's blue handle. Maybe you just have it collapsed.
